MyDNA – Privacy Policy

How we process your personal data

MyDNA does not process or store any of your personal information related to DNA and health.

Registration in the client system and receipt of sample responses are carried out on the tellmeGen platform.

DNA analysis results are sent directly to the tellmeGen laboratory, where all data is processed and stored in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and has no connection to the Georgian distribution side.

MyDNA ensures the protection of your personal information and uses it only in accordance with the rules stipulated by Georgian legislation - for the provision of services, communication and direct marketing purposes (with your consent).

  • We protect the security of your data.

  • We do not use them unlawfully.

  • We provide you with full information about their processing.

  • To whom was the information transferred

  • A copy of your data.

  • Correction, update, blocking or deletion of data, if there is a legal basis for this.


What data do we collect

  • Personal information:

  • We collect only the information that is necessary:

  • To create an account.

  • To place an order.

  • To communicate.

  • To participate in specific activities on the website.

  • This may include: name, surname, e-mail, date of birth, tel. number, contact information.

  • Credit card data is not stored in our system - payment is made on the secure platform of a partner bank.

Non-personal information:

  • Device, browser

  • Navigation, behavior on the website

This is used to improve and secure the website.

In order to determine the appropriate duration of personal data retention, we take into account the volume, nature and sensitivity of the information, the potential risks of unauthorized use or disclosure, the purposes of processing personal information and alternative ways to achieve these purposes without using personal data, as well as, of course, the requirements of legislation and established regulations. We will process your personal data for the period necessary for this, which means the period specified by the legislation for the processing of a specific category of personal data or, in the absence of such, the period necessary to fulfill the obligations imposed on us by general legislation or international standards.

You can request that we stop processing your data at any time. In such a case, we will not be able to provide you with timely and complete services and  our services may be disrupted.

Upon your request or after the expiry of the period for which your data is processed, it will be destroyed in accordance with a pre-established procedure. Data destruction refers to the permanent deletion of electronically stored personal data, and the physical destruction of data stored in physical form.
